Pasture is at the heart of our operation and we use cattle to harvest it. Menalpyn is in a unique area, where, with our perennial pastures and out of season thunder storms we regularly have green feed all year round. This provides the quality and quantity of dry matter that determines the number of livestock we are able to carry; it also increases flexibility in when we can finish our livestock, enabling Menalpyn to have greater control over its marketing choices.
